  1. What a timely message, Jessie. Thank you for taking us back to the basics of our faith. I pray many find their way to this article and choose God today. Sharing!

  2. I totally believe we are getting just a glimpse of the extremes of after life, Jessie. The glory of Heaven is simply unimaginable, and, so is the torment of Hell. I think they’re understated because simply can’t imagine them, but also because we like to contain things in explainable boxes, especially boxes based on our own experiences. I pray some will meet Jesus after reading your post.

    1. Yes! I definitely agree that each extreme is understated in our minds simply because we just aren’t capable of that level of comprehension. Thanks, Stephen—I echo those prayers!! :)

  3. This is spot on. Excellent post! It’s our choice. I shared a post about this same thing not long ago, embedding a Timothy Keller podcast within the post about the rich man and Lazarus and how the experience of each as recorded was based upon that choice. I think the podcast is called Upside Down Living. I bet you’d like it.

    1. Thanks, Melinda! That sounds really interesting; I’ll have to look into it! :)
