  1. Excellent post, Jessie! The understanding of the Holy Spirit seems to be missing in many churches. My experience was similar to yours. As I continued seeking the Lord, little by little I came to understand the truth you so clearly explain in this post. To think that the Spirit of God is within us is incredible! The God of all eternity in these small clay vessels. Blessings upon you, your message and ministry!

    1. Yes, exactly, Melissa! And once you’ve found him it’s hard to imagine life before! :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

  2. Amen!

I’ve seen the Holy Spirit at work in my kids for sure. Maybe one more than another ;) But the fruit of the Spirit shows up & goodness that definitely didn’t come from me… generosity, humility, a servant heart… it’s so beautiful and encouraging to see.

I’ve never heard the term “junior holy spirit” …. I don’t even know what that’s supposed to mean??

I think… maybe like Jesus time, our current culture does not honor kids the way Jesus does.

    1. Yes Christina, that’s exactly what I meant – that many in our greater church culture feel the need to water spiritual truths down for kids, when they’re more than capable of understanding. Thanks so much for your comment! I love seeing the Holy Spirit exhibited through my kids as well!!💕

  3. Love this! I was raised with some understanding of the Hily Spirit. I gained more as an adult and am blessed to have been touched by the Spirit in one service that laid me out on the floor. No one can tell me The Holy Spirit is not real because of that experience. I can’t explain it well, but He touched me. For real. Anyway, our current church does not provide Holy Spirit experience YET, but as long as the word of God is preached we will stay there and try to help the Spirit feel welcome. I want my children to experience Him when they are ready.

    1. I love this, Nicole! I love that you know the power of the HS and can stay in your current church and be an example for others. God can do big things with your situation! Way to be faithful.💖🙌
